Meder’s Home & Garden Showplace has been proudly serving Pittsburgh and the surrounding community for over 60 years.

Meder’s was founded in 1962 by Joe Meder, who began the business as a Landscape and Grass cutting service. The company continued to expand over the years, with the family still overseeing the daily operations and maintaining the practices and core values that has allowed Meder’s to evolve into the garden center that it is today.

Joe Meder put his heart and soul into making Meder’s what it is today, and we are proud to continue his legacy by sharing the same passion that he had for the business. Sadly, we lost Joe in 2009. With the help of Joe’s wife Nancy, his daughter Kim, and her husband Scott, we have continued with the traditions that he started, as well as adding some of their own. No matter the season, be it Spring, Summer, Fall or Christmas, we take pride in our knowledgeable staff, our great customer service, and our selection of quality goods.
